ISAC, Tallahassee, FL retained SDII Global Corporation to perform a comprehensive subsurface geological investigation to determine if the damage to this residence is being caused by sinkholeactivity. It is the opinion of SDII geologists that the subsurface soils need to be stabilized to minimize further subsistence damage. This can be accomplished through grout injection, using 21 injection points and 230 cubic yards of grout to compact and densify sandy soils. This is also intended to seal the top of the limestone surface to minimize future raveling. |
